I'm sure the entire Klaine fandom has seen this by now (several times) but here it is anyway (you can never have too much of a good thing, right?)

Oh the squee! I think this is my favourite Klaine moment of all time, bar none. It's perfect. It's so adorably, sweet but not saccharine or cheesy. It's touching. It's funny. It has cute Kurt fashion meta. It's Kurt willing and eager to marry Blaine. It's Blaine being so honest and open. It's them both being so head-over-heals in love with each other.

And it's just one more example of why Klaine is endgame.

Of course I'm totally p'd off a little disappointed that they had to cut it to make more room for Rachel and Finn going on and on about an African sow pig helping others and discovering the true meaning of Christmas but it's still completey canon for me so whatever.

So, ria_kukalaka, your LiveJournal reveals…

You are… 4% unique (blame, for example, your interest in rodney/radek/chocolate cake), 24% peculiar, 37% interesting, 25% normal and 11% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy supernatural). When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are wary of trusting strangers. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is simplistic.

cookielaura reminded me of my Matt Bomer love. Of which there is plenty. He's mysterious, Bryce Larkin (Chuck) and hilarious as Cooper Anderson (Glee) and of course, of course just generally wonderful as Neal Caffrey (White Collar).

And as if that's not enough, he also has to be completely adorableCollapse )

And we get to see him play a stripper in Magic Mike soon! I was gonna add a picture, but it just seemed kinda wrong with the photos of his kids!

I moved out of my parents home like 4 years ago. But they've been doing some cleaning and I've just been given a box of some stuff I left behind. And guess what I found on the very top:

Of course it had to be my squeeful thing of the day.
I know that it's actually a heartbreakingly sad and pretty dark episode. But it's also just so much fun! There's witty lyrics (YAY Joss Whedon) and upbeat music and wacky dance numbers and the songs are infectiously catching.

I don't think I can pick a favourite. I like Going Through the Motions as it's one of the rare times I actually feel genuinely sorry for Buffy. Tara's Under your Spell and Giles' Standing both leave me teared up. I'll Never Tell manages to be simultaneously hilarious and really sad, plus Emma Caulfield has an amazing voice. Spike's Rest in Peace is completely LOL! And the group numbers at the end are all just wonderful.

We've had many a fun road trip singing this whole album at the top of our voices. A tradition I may have to restart ;)

This week, how could there not be Avenger's squee?!?

Superheroes and Joss Whedon! The squee for this one's been building up for months! And like everyone else, I was excited. But small confession, I've not always been the biggest fan of the Avengers. I liked Thor (mainly 'cos of Loki). I only watched the first Iron Man and it was kinda ok. I liked Captain America the movie, but Steve Rogers was a bit pathetic. And The Hulk was outright disappointing.

Still I was expecting it to be fun. It blew my expectations waaaaay outta the water.

Spoilery spoilers, you know in case there's anyone left in the western hemisphere who hasn't seen itCollapse )

I have resisted for many a year (but to be fair I always knew it would be a bit futile).

So I now have Tumblr. I'm ria-kukalaka. I'm randomly stalking some of you, who I've spotted already. But it's still a bit bare so let me know if you exist over there. Also feel free to follow me.

Because this is something that made me squee (quite a lot and multiple times) today.

Anyone who hasn't seen The West Wing reunion walk and talk thing go here. In fact even if you have seen it, I think it's worth going again. ;)

(Thanks to tikiaceae for pointing me to it)

Where do I even start with how much I love this? There's the obvious West Wing love, of course. There's how easily they can mock themselves (and the American people!). There's Larry (Or Ed, whatever) and ghostly!Mrs Landingham. There's jacket wearing, tight pink spandex, multiple variations of 30 minutes and adorable demonstrations of walking. And there's our geeky president being a geek. *hearts*

As a side note (I know the point of this challenge was to get away from RL) but I spend a reasonable amount of my working life telling people to do just this. And now I can smile to myself every time I do. :)

And if that wasn't enough squee right there, there's a behind the scenes thing. Within which there is much laughter, Dule Hill getting smacked on the head, Allison Janney owing money and Joshua Malina being a cruel, cruel man and shattering the hopes of millions on Twitter.

*goes to rewatch*

{Take the 100 Things challenge!}

I've been a little MIA from here for the last couple of years. Boring adult, RL work-related stuff kinda took over with a vengence. But I miss squeeful fandomy stuff and, well basically, the entirety of my flist.

So I've decided to do the 100 Things challenge. I shall attempt to post 100 things that make me squee! I can't promise they're all gonna be wonderfully written, detailed, insightful posts; in fact I can pretty much guarantee that they won't be ;) But I shall attempt to remind myself of the squee, and hopefully spread some of it along.

Do not download a single song, legally or illegally. Do not go to see a single film in cinemas, or download a copy. Do not buy a DVD in the stores. Do not buy a videogame. Do not buy a single book or magazine. Wait the four weeks to buy them in April: see a film later, etc... Holding out for just four weeks, maximum, will leave a gaping hole in media companies profits for the first quarter, an economic hit which will in turn be observed by governments world wide as stocks and shares will blip from a large enough loss of incomes. Edited to add my own thoughts (not part of the original reddit call for action) And if you do not feel like taking a total break and perhaps want just a trial separation or couple's counseling, then perhaps consider Black March Lite 2.0 = spend, but spend money on those content creators and independent retailers who came out against SOPA/PIPA.  And tell them why you're buying their products in March.  There are many of them.

And for those who favor the more targeted boycott, you can find info  here.  But no matter which,  you can participate and you can tailor your level of participation.  We have the tools, the will and the strength to take a stand.

I love New Year's resolutions. Turns out I can just re-use all of the ones from last year. Saving time and effort. ;)

I'm now going to go ring in the New Year whilst revising like the total geek that I am.

Hope you all have a good one!
